A short game about trying to impress someone you just met at a bar.  Try to keep the conversation going... or don't. Do whatever feels right for you.

Created for a college assignment using 300 words or less. I wanted to create a short branching narrative with choices that subvert the player's expectations.

I like how the "interest" are represent by the bars instead of text. The overall visual details are fascinating, it definitely enhance the play experience with the facial expressions. I tried several different options and I can feel how the each decision matters and effect the level of interest.

This made me LOL multiple times. "That's creepy." "Are you into that?" Also I love that being an incomprehensible weirdo successfully got Odessa to go home with me, while attempts at flirting just made things worse.

The aesthetic of this whole page is lovely -- the way that you've set up the different boxes, black backgrounds and borders, just makes this feel so solid and complete. Great work, solid technical execution!

The visuals in this game are great, and it's fascinating to see the expressions change on the character. I enjoyed the rotating options of hobbies, it was fun clicking through them. It would be interesting if there were some different lines at the end depending on the choices you chose as well! That way, players may feel like their choices really impacted the ending.

I think the overall quality of the work is outstanding, largely because of the high level of detail and polish in the visuals. I was especially impressed by how the code was used to express the gradual increase of the “interest” gauge, which made the experience more engaging and dynamic. Although the interface design is in black and white, it still feels rich and full, so it never comes across as lacking or empty, making the piece feel complete and well-crafted.
